@ 9months 3weeks... An official Walker

Today April 11th, my baby is officially walking... Yes, Believe it!

At his 9months 3 weeks, he is officially a Walker!!!
It all started out about two and half weeks ago, when he maybe gave his very first three little steps, and then boom... to the floor. then maybe four and then boom... floor. It's being like that, a matter of practicing; My husband says that he drinks, and the baby is the one getting all drunk. lol
Today though, he is walking 10 long steps, still a little crucket, but walking. He actually came out of the room walking, walked across the living room all by himself. Walked out of the kitchen as well... oh my gosh Am I excited.... He is the most wonderful gift from god, I love him soo much, it feels as if my heart is about to pump out

What a wonderful feeling!

FRIENDSHIP

Friendship isn't always easily described. The Eskimos, they say, have a hundred different words for snow. Unfortunately, the English language isn't quite as innovative, though it has vast opportunities to differentiate meaning. Certainly, Love is one of those opportunities. And so, too, is Friendship.
Instead of different words, however, we're stuck with simple adjectives. Close friend. Best friend. Childhood friend. Intimate friend. Trusted friend. Beloved friend. But whether you use adjectives or different words, few could deny the nearly infinite meaning in such a simple word.
Friends are special people. We can't pick our family, and we're sorely limited in the number of them at any rate. Society and mores (and often our own conscience) dictate we select a single mate. But our friends can be as diverse and infinite as the adjectives we choose. Our friends, in a very real sense, reflect the choices we make in life.
AUTHOR
Friendship...

friend·ship ( P ) Pronunciation Key (frndshp)n.
The quality or condition of being friends.
A friendly relationship: formed many new friendships over the summer.
Friendliness; good will: a policy of friendship toward other nations.

am I friendless? perhaps, do I feel friendless? what a difficult state, a psychological state... solitude? not quite. No, Not solitude, not with my eternal companion, who decided to come into my life on June 22, 2005... but what about all of those who said to be my friends? or that I probably labeled them as my friends? are they alive? do they know that I am alive?
Am I supposed to call or to drop a note to each and every one of them to let them know that I am here? that I exist?
I don't know if I am being fair, or maybe too unfair... with whom though? with myself? with my "friends"? just because I got tired of being the only one calling, the one contacting them... then if I don't call, if I don't say hi, I don't here from anyone, i feel friendless.
I guess no one cares, why should I?

My Birthday

Life's tough

Hey, I'm back... I finally discovered that little button that will let me edit my space.. i'm so happy.
anyways, going through difficult times with our new home... Hopefully this month everything will get resolve, also... Economy is not so good, but anyways, I had the best Birthday ever. My husband started out with a wonderful breakfast. Out to Olive gardens for lunch hosted by our dear family friend Jhon F, then to the beauty salon for a complete 'make over', and finally end the night at the Cheesecake Factory... it was a wonderful day, Especially because i was with the best company ever... mi gordis & my husband.

Anyways, it was a wonderful day, also because I received phone calls from all my family in Colombia... it was so special to hear the phone ringing and then talk to mi abuelita Fanny, or mi tia Edith, mi tia Cristina... then also add my family here: mom, dad, tati, my brother didn't call me... he stoped by (so nice).
But to my surprise, it ended up in a surprise party that my husband held at my cousin's house... he told me we were going to go out with them, the baby was supposed to stay with 'la suegra', but when we walked in to the house everyone shouted "SURPRISE" it was really nice to see my love ones there celebrating MY BIRTHDAY.
Wonderful 28th birthday...

Thanks my love, thanks to my chubby baby, thanks to my friends and family and thanks to God for letting us enjoy all this wonderful stuff!!!

My family

Hello there,
if you are reading this blog is because you may be interested in what I have to write or what I think about... let me start by telling you about my family.
I have been married to 'mi negro' for 2 years, two loooong years... ha ha ha but they have been the most wonderful two years of my life. on those two years, we have cried, laugh, play, share, watch, feel... is just beautiful memories, unforgettable momentos.
Our treasure, our son, was born on June 22, 2006. His name is Gio Emmanuel, who has brought us soo much happiness. Making every feeling there is to feel even more intense than ever before.
Today, he is seven months old. He is learning to crawl and has by now, eight teeth. A week ago, I decided to finally stop nursing him... breastfeeding was getting a little too difficult after his last 4 teeth started to show up a month ago. He has, at 7 months, eight teeth total.
He is so intelligent, learning new things every day. Is just amazing the capability that his little mind has to absorve so much information. He is showing us soo much, especially about love... he is teaching us what pure love is about. I thought I knew all about love, but after he came along, I realize what real love means.
I truly dearly love you family... Emmanuel & Alvaro
